I had first heard about this in 2015 but only recently stumbled upon the page where I could actually download the app. There are versions for Android and Apple cell phones. I have installed it on my Android phone but haven't had a chance to test it yet. It looks like you should be able to navigate to the burial place of anyone who is listed in the Forest Lawn database using your phone's GPS. Of course, I'm not sure how well that GPS would work inside one of the mausoleums, but we do have to accept that there are some limits on our technology.
If you open this page on your cell phone and click on the link it should take you to a page where you can choose to install the app on your Android or Apple cellphone. I've only tested the link on my version of Android so I know it works on my flavor of Android 4.4. You will have to log in to Google on your Android phone to download the app and you will have to log into whatever the equivalent is on the iPhone to download from the Apple App Store.
Once I've had a chance to test their app out I will come back with more information on what I think of it, although I may add that as a separate page that links from this one.
