One of my pet peeves with the Find A Grave website is how many duplicate memorials are on the site. In many cases you can either get the admins to merge the memorials or you can get the contributor to delete the duplicate memorial. However, sometimes this just doesn't work, for one reason or another.
I have been keeping track of some of these problem memorials, especially ones in Forest Lawn Glendale, for some time. I actually updated the table in my database which tracks Find A Grave memorials to keep track of these records. So this query goes into the table where that information is stored, returns the people ID from the database, the original memorial, and the duplicate memorial.
Over a long enough period of time, some of these memorials do get merged together or deleted, so when I find that has happened I update the database.
