As I improve the quality of images linked to people records within the database (typically marker photos), I am then in a position where I want to delete older photos which do not look as good. This involves deleting the images from the image table, but then I also like to free up storage locally and on the web server by deleting the poorer quality images from both locations.

Since this process is a bit busy with three distinct moving parts, I came up with this routine to make it a bit more efficient. I flag the bad photos in the database as they are identified, then this query returns the image name (so I can delete it from the images table) and the path to the image (by cemetery, section, lot and space or equivalents) so that I have the paths to delete the images both on the server and my archive copy on my local hard drive.
