Patrick Michael Kosnik, 71, of Fairfield Glade, passed away Feb. 17, 2005. Memorial services were conducted Feb. 21 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gregory Neuzil officiating. Burial was in St. Francis of Assisi Columbarium, with Honor Guard providing military honors of presentation of the flag, firing detail and "Taps."
Mr. Kosnik was born March 13, 1933 in Detroit, MI, the son of Anestazy and Angeline Gorzenski Kosnik. He was an electrical engineer for General Dynamics and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his dear and loving friend, Wanda Petrocy of Fairfield Glade; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Courtney Kosnik of Warren, MI; three grandchildren; son-in-law, Joseph Fischer of Dublin, MI; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leonard and Irene Kosnik of West Bloomfield, MI, Anthony and Peggy Kosnik of Huntington Woods, MI, Bernard and Louise Kosnik of Warren, MI, Florian and Emmy Kosnik of Warren, MI and Ted and Ilene Kosnik of Tyler, TX; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Angeline Gaffigan of Peoria, IL, Ann and Jerry Jenosky of Macomb Township, MI and Dorothy and Benjamin Stapel of Dearborn, MI.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Patrice Fischer; and brothers, Joseph, Paul, John Richard and Edmund Kosnik.
The family requests memorials be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
