Naomi "Jean" Mobley, 84, of Enfield, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at the Deaconess Hospice Center in Evansville, Ind.
She was born Aug. 8, 1926 in Robinson, the daughter of Thomas Raymond and Cora A. (Deckard) Harris. She married Harold Eugene Mobley on May 2, 1946, and he preceded her on Jan. 21, 1994. Jean was a retired farmer, as well as a member of Enfield Christian Church. She was also a member of the White County CB Club and her handle was "Wiggy."
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rita Ann and John Brown of Enfield; two grandchildren, Tonya and Scott Price of Omaha, and Rob Brewer and his girlfriend, Farrah Taylor, of Enfield; two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Scott Biggerstaff of Norris City, and Amber Price of Omaha; a great-great-granddaughter, Braylyn Biggerstaff of Norris City; two nieces and a nephew-in-law; a first cousin; and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Eugene; and a sister, Mary E. Bedwell.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service in the chapel. Burial will take place in Enfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
