Original name recorded as "Isel Noria Campbell".

I found this person scraping the Forest Lawn website 12 years ago. You can't find them searching the website now because there is no surname on the record, only a first and middle name (which may be garbled). However, you can still see the person on the webcemeteries site for Forest Lawn Covina, which lets you pull up people with a first or a last name.

I noticed the person again today while I was looking at some other records. Obviously the name information is garbled or there would be a surname of some kind attached to the record. However, there is some information on the webcemeteries site that I didn't see before, namely a death date of 10 November 1969 (with a burial date of 14 November).

I'm not sure where the "Campbell" came from but it was on the Forest Lawn website when I scraped it before. I can't find it on the webcemeteries site, it has a "null" for the surname. I originally sorted the name as if the surname was "Isel" but that is clearly not the case now, at least not from anything I can find on any of the Forest Lawn websites.

Armed with the death date, however, I searched the California Death Index (I have a way of searching by dates only as well as some other information such as birth places and first names only, etc.). I did find a "Thel Campbell" who died on that day who was born in Texas in 1934. I went ahead and created a family search record for her (it's G2RL-CM7 for anyone who is interested) but I don't know if it's the right person, don't know if she was single or married, what her maiden name was if she was married, etc.

In any event, I'm going to clean up the record as best I can, but I am probably going to change the names to "Unknown unknown" until I can figure out who the hell this person was. If I ever get out to Forest Lawn Covina I will stop by that section and see if I can find a marker.
