Lieutenant Manners (the bombardier) and Staff Sergeant Albert Seraydarian (either the tail gunner or one of the waist gunners, accounts differ, although I have also seen Robert Peterson listed as the tail gunner so perhaps Albert was a waist gunner on this mission) were the only crew members of the Black Cat to make it out of the plane alive and with intact chutes. (Sergeant Goodner did exit the plane but apparently without a parachute so he was killed on impact with the ground).

Manners and Seraydarian were taken prisoner by the Germans, and spent the rest of the war in custoday. They were liberated in May 1945 and were able to tell the tale of the last few moments of the plane.

Manners died of a heart attack at age 41. I'm still trying to figure out what happened to Seraydarian. He survived the war but if he has died in the interim I don't know when or where. He was born in 1926 or 1927 so as of late 2019 if he is still alive he would be at least 92 years old.

Here is another page on Lieutenant Manners, on the American Air Museum in Britain website (link here).

Christ's family anglicized their name in 1940, at that time his parents had spent 38 years in the U.S. after leaving Greece, apparently they were tired of people garbling their surname.
