I've been going off on enough rants like this lately (see my notes on Anne Henderson Barton) but here I go again.

Liz Sheridan was married to William Wales, so it would in fact be plausible that she would be buried next to him at Forest Lawn Glendale in the Wee Kirk Churchyard Lot 2824 Space 2, like the find a grave memorial for her says. EXCEPT there's one small problem. William's first wife Bonnie Wales is buried in that spot (I created her find a grave memorial off the Forest Lawn website information 10 years ago and yes, there is a marker photo on find a grave). And those spaces are not the dual or multiple interment spaces, which means they normally don't have two people in the same spot.

What that indicates to me is that the person who created her find a grave memorial just guessed she was in Forest Lawn Glendale and assigned her the spot next to William Wales, not realizing that his first wife was already there.

I checked the Forest Lawn website and they show no trace of her under Sheridan or Wales, not a grave listing, not a service, and not an obituary. Also, she died in New York state (either Manhattan or Westchester County depending on which source you believe) so it's not like there would be any particular reason she would be buried in Glendale, California.

So once again, unless more information comes to light, it does not appear that Liz Sheridan is at Forest Lawn Glendale, regardless of what her find a grave memorial shows.
