His marker shows a birth year of 1897, the 1896 is from military records. I can not corroborate the birth place as I have been unable to locate him in census records. There is someone with a similar name who was born in Wisconsin and was living in Minnesota in 1910 so they may be one and the same person. His father was listed as John Reinlander but without a birth date or place. There is no listing for who his mother was.

Married Jessie Eddine Keady in 1918 (later Grennan, later Guilford, 1902-1979).

Died in France while serving in WWI as part of the American Expeditionary Force. Listed first as severely wounded in action, changed later to died of wounds.
