Security Enhancements

The Security screen is viewed by clicking on the Security button within the Administration window.

The Security screen contains the following sections and buttons:

The Global Settings section controls settings which can be applied to all users, but there is an option within it to allow individual user security settings to override the global settings.

How to change the security settings for an individual user:

  1. First, within the Global Settings section, check the box labeled Allow user security rights to override administrator defined rights.

  2. From the User List on the left side of the screen, highlight the User Code and corresponding Name for the user id you want to change the settings for.

  3. You can reset the user password, change the user's access level, or change the security options for this user while you have their name highlighted on the list.
